School turns to TigerTurf to keep green

'it was difficult to maintain grass areas because of the genearl wear and tear, with water restrictions compounding the problem. TigerTurf was a more pratical cheap option and has made a big difference to children and teachers with all year round access' says School Principal Mary Hemmings.
With the previous pitch being reduced to a dust bowl in the summer and a mud bath in winter, the TigerTurf surface will now be able to be used for a variety of sports, with the school set to begin after school soccer training next term which couldn't previously be done on the grassed area.
Installing synthetic turf is a growing trend at schools across the state and with the welcome Building the Education Revolution funding it is becoming a viable option.
