TigerTurf goes the distance

When Hedland Senior High School, in the suburb of South Hedland, wanted to resurface their existing bitumen courts and natural grass quadrangle, the 1,700k distance from TigerTurf’s office in Perth was no problem.   

South Hedland is 15k’s inland from Port Hedland, in the Pilbara Region of Western Australia. 

The Schools existing bitumen basketball court was upgraded with an acrylic surface, TigerPave, a durable hard court system providing a sure footed surface with true ball bounce, skid resistance, requiring low maintenance.   

The school’s quadrangle, an existing natural grass area, was transformed to a volleyball court in blue with a green surround, using TigerTurf’s Tournament 1000 sandfilled synthetic surface.   The area is now usable day in day out, providing a safe, level and attractive, low maintenance surface.
