'The new TigerTurf courts are playing really well and the even ball bounce is great for junior and social tennis. Another important factor of the asthetically pleasing courts is they are a lot cooler to play on than the hard courts which has been a real bonus during the recent hot weather' says Tennis Director and Head Coach, Peter Smith.
The courts will compliment the other 26 courts at the complex, a mix of lawn, hard and synthetic.
TigerTurf's Commerical Grand Prix surface provides the tennis player with a high ball bounce, quicker ball speed and greater grip underfoot.
The surface is a dense polypropylene, 12mm pile height partially filled with sand, and certified to International Tennis Federation classification.
