TigerTurf contract extension with Bowls Australia

Bowls Australia is delighted to announce that it has signed a three-year contract extension with TigerTurf Australia.

In a major coup, TigerTurf will become the official supplier of synthetic bowling greens for Bowls Australia, with the manufacturing giant given exclusive rights to showcase it's products at the Australian Open and BA grand prixs, as well as joint marketing initiatives between the two organisations.

With the ink still try on the new contract, Bowls Australia commercial operations manager, Des Ryan said he was thrilled to be able to forge a long-term partnership with the Australian leader in the synthetic sports industry.

"We closely review a company and it's products before entering into any endorsement agreement of this nature and we are looking forward to a long and mutually rewarding relationship with TigerTurf, Mr Ryan said.

"Both the tufted and woven products have strong reputations in the bowls marketplace and just as importantly TigerTurf is well regarded by clubs for the quality of its pre and post installation service".

With the Australian market, TigerTurf offers three types of synthetic surfaces, namely:

- A tufted sand fille surface which has been available for more than a decade.

- A needlepunch surface, which is ideal for retirement villages that offers a reduced speed option.
- And a woven carpet surface that can be used on indoor and outdoor arenas.

The woven surface, which is supplied exclusively to TigerTurf in Australia, has been frequently used in the international arena to worldwide support.
